I have known* you now for over two years. When I found myself lost in the overwhelming currents of YA bloggerdom (specifically the hows, whys and don’ts) you responded to my queries and requests with class. You might not have known at the time that you’d tossed me a raft or two but you were never doing it to save me. You were doing it to be of assistance, to offer support, to be kind. That is you in a nutshell – you’re there as a guiding force, someone to set the bar. Not to be the be all and end all but to be the beacon.
You can imagine my surprise this morning when I heard your news. That our Lenore was going to be a published author. I knew you wrote of course but to hear that not only were you getting published, that you had brokered a new kind of deal was mind blowing (but not all that surprising.)
I believe that what you give out comes back to you. While this doesn’t pertain to your writing talent (of which I am sure is bountiful), it does to you as a person.
As a person, as a blogger and as a writer you continue to set the standard!
With mountains of respect,
*hopefully this will bridge the online 'know' and into the actual 'know' at some point :)
