Some of these blogs have actually been around for awhile but I have just been blind to them. I have found that since I am no longer blogging, I am actually reading more blogs in more varied areas of life.
Dear Photograph
A person holds up a photo taken at some point in their person history in front of the same landscape, matching up the setting and voila! Incredibly simple but oh so cool. The comment that joins the photo is usually pretty pun-ny which tickles my funny bone.
Awesome People Hanging Out Together
Exactly as it states. Two people of note, within the same frame. (Courtesy of the lovely Kate at bean there, read that)
1001 Rules for My Unborn Son
Words cannot express...advice like "494. If it’s already lit, put down the lighter fluid."
I am a self-confessed pop culture consumer. I can watch anything. Two things I love - the non-Marissa Cooper year of The OC and every horrible season (that would be all of them) of One Tree Hill. Why? Two people - Autumn Reaser who played Taylor on the OC and Bethany Joy Galeotti who plays Haley on OTH. They have both just had babies but more than anything have little blogs with great photography, home decor tips, beauty ideas and some philosophical thought. Their blogs aren't pretentious, just homey. More than anything I am just in it for the cool photos of far flung, not so well known parts of the US. Plus I like to keep track of the status of BJG's The Notebook musical (because I am pathetic).
Easy as (vegan) pie
I am not vegan. I don't cook. I don't eat out all that much. And yet, I am somewhat into this blog which I found courtesy of the Emerging Writers Festival director, Lisa Dempster. It's Australian, specifically Melbourne based but I am in it for the pictures of food - I am shallow, what can I say?
Cultural Learnings
I've been reading this blog for a long time. Want insightful, thorough and thought provoking takes on an episode of a televisiion show - this is the place. Myles McNutt is incredible. I don't always agree but it always makes me think about what the director, screenwriters, actors and studios are truing to achieve.
Frocks and Frou Frou
I started stalking this blog religiously when I was in Japan. I couldn't buy clothes because I am a big girl anyway but Godzilla-like in Japan. I had to get my fashion-fill by watching the fashion stylings of Lilli. I dress conservatively because that's what I thought I should dress like but reading Lilli's blog and seeing how much fun she has, it has made me be braver in what I will try on and in some cases buy. I am also very lucky because after moving to Melbourne, this lovely lady actually because my friend for reals (instead of just on twitter). And she also solved my problem with pantyhose. The solution was ridiculously easy but I had never thought of it...

I love Dear Photograph! There was a feature on it on this radio station I listen to.
You should check out Betty
It always has links to sites like that. Too easy to lose an afternoon on them :)
