Japan - Love to You

When news broke of the earthquake (and subsequent tsunami) that hit Japan I was frightened.  I spent the entirety of 2010 in Japan teaching three year olds and my thoughts instantly went to my little babies, their families and the staff of my school.

They aren't in the direct hit area but I want to send my love.  One mum told me "It was soooooo horrible.  We are okey".  This makes me feel better for them but my love goes out to the country that made me feel so welcomed.  It is truly frightening to see people go through this kind of horror.  My love to them all.

I can't imagine the panic that is going on in Japan right now. And I hope your babies are all okay. that is the cutest picture. Just love pigtails on little girls.

Three year olds are too darn cute, if stubborn:)

The scary thing was that I was intending to take a gap year and go teach English in Japan for the year. I went on a school trip back in Sept '09, but I know how well prepared they are with all the disasters. We went to the disaster museum building whatever i forgot. And we were on like the earthquake simulator and stuff where we had grab pillows and get under the table. As well as the maze with the smoke in it and you had crawl your way through.

My town is now on a tsunami advisory, but I don't really think much will happen. My house is just under a mile from the beach. I am nervous to read the news out of Japan because I know it will be all devastation

I thought of you almost immediately when I heard. I'm glad "your" people are okay so far and I'm sending love and good thoughts to everyone else there.

It's so awful, isn't it? I, too, taught English in Japan, and I can't stop thinking about the devastation over there right now.

I lived in Japan for 13 months, teaching English, and the country has such a special place in my heart. My heart is breaking for the people, what a terrible disaster. I'm sending all the love and light I have to them all.
