I ADORED Jellicoe Road. I'm really going to have to read more of her stuff.

I just bought WOLF OF SHADOWS, which is a teeny-tiny dystopian written in like the sixties. It's told from the perspective of a wolf who protects a mother and her daughter after a nuclear holocaust, and WOW it is cool. (I love finding those little-known books that turn out to be awesome. :D)

Great books you got this week. I have yet to read a book by Melina Marchetta but I have heard nothing but great things about her books.

I remember loving Looking For Allibrandi when I read it as a teen but haven't read any Melinda Marchetta since - Jellicoe Road sounds great, might have to reacquaint myself with her work!

Here's my IMM this week: http://bookloverbookreviews.blogspot.com/2010/01/in-my-mailbox_31.html

I have seen some wonderful reviews for On the Jellicoe Road. Enjoy!

These both look like great books. The only book by Melina Marchetta that I have read is Finnikin of the Rock, but Jellicoe Road is on my To Be Read List.

Happy Reading!
