Review - Fragile Eternity / Melissa Marr

Summary - Seth never expected he would want to settle down with anyone—but that was before Aislinn. She is everything he'd ever dreamed of, and he wants to be with her forever. Forever takes on new meaning, though, when your girlfriend is an immortal faery queen.

Aislinn never expected to rule the very creatures who'd always terrified her—but that was before Keenan. He stole her mortality to make her a monarch, and now she faces challenges and enticements beyond any she'd ever imagined.

Review - Oh Sorcha, let me count the ways that I love thee. You’re powerful, you recognise a good man when you meet one and you’re oh so tricky with your words. Sorcha’s fair, she’s tough and she does it all without being a cow. Enough with the gushing.

After the murky depths of Ink Exchange it was quite difficult to acclimatise to the lighter approach of Fragile Eternity. While many readers would be ready and eager to revisit Seth and Ash’s love story, I felt like it was time to move forward. Ash continued to annoy me, Seth’s insecurities bothered me and I wanted to kick Keenan in the face. I was cheering madly for Donia though, she does something to Ash that’s pretty harsh but awesome. Quite simply I missed the darkness of the previous title and longed for it.

Fragile Eternity was a swirling mass of stories and perspectives which at times become a little too much. Aislinn is at the whim of the guy she is in closest proximity too, Seth’s a tad needy, Keenan can’t decide who he wants to be with and Donia is the only one with a handle on the actual situation. Yet all characters are beautifully rounded despite their flaws. Fragile Eternity didn’t have enough to keep me involved, there were many stories but nothing that kept me emotionally engaged. But then again, there was Sorcha!

Once again we are in accord, Adele. I was so fed up with everyone but Sorcha and Niall in this book. LOVE those two. But everyone else could go take a flying leap after this installment. Which is not to say that I won't read the next one. Because I will...but for Niall and Sorcha this time.

I'm curious about Sorcha since you like this character real much.
