As I explained in my intro post - FNL Week is an event I cooked up to draw your attention to the fantastic television series, Friday Night Lights.
I asked some YA authors known for their vocal support of the show to share with you the reasons why
1) FNL is amazing, and
2) Why you should watch it.
The first cab off the rank is the newly married, fantastically accommodating, Readergirlz contributor Melissa Walker (author of the Violet on the Runway series and Lovestruck Summer).

I'm probably a good year or so late in saying this, but the (new?) blog layout looks FAB-U-LOUS! And, OMG, how much do I adore Melissa Walker? (That was rhetorical.) BTW, have you noticed how long and dark and beautiful her lashes are? Just sayin...
Now I'd better go get myself some FNL DVDs (I think the library has them...oh, how I love the library these days!). XO

I'm just glad Sarah Dessen is a Riggins girl too! Matt's too goody-two-shoes for me. I like a bad boy.
Oh, Tim Riggins. It took a whole season and A HALF to like you. The whole first season I just wanted you to sober up and wash your hair.
It's funny, Pretty Boy actually had a big ol' man crush on Riggins pretty early on. He loves his wry sense of humor and no-nonsense attitude. I'm so glad I've grown to love him now. =)
