It was while I was exploring this site that I came across the Gayle Forman approved If I Stay playlist. Music is a HUGE part of this novel, covering many genres.

Oh, that would be amazing if one of these made it onto the music soundtrack. I think it should, if Gayle herself believes all these songs fit the novel you know? I'm sure they could make it happen.
By the way, I have to say that I LOVE when authors have playlists for their novels. Music is amazing.
